Bringing your server from outside Moldova
Send the equipment by express courier - DHL, FedEx or UPS. We handle customs clearance in Moldova: we collect the shipment from the courier, clear it and rack your server.
- Consignee: Inovare-Prim SRL
- Delivery address: str. Uzinelor 21, Chisinau, Moldova - our data centre
- Documents to attach: a full description of the equipment, its market value and the shipping cost. Customs will not release the shipment without them.
- Shipping is paid by the sender, directly to the courier.
Customs costs - import VAT at 20% of the customs value (equipment plus shipping), brokerage and related fees - are re-invoiced to you once, at the amounts actually charged. This payment is not refunded when the contract ends.
When the contract ends you book the courier yourself and give them the data centre address for collection. If we incur costs for paperwork or duties, those are invoiced separately.
You are welcome to bring the server in person instead: schedule the visit from the control panel and our engineers will take it in against a handover record.
The IPHOST data centre
Power and cooling
- 2N redundancy: both power and cooling are duplicated.
- UPS with 5 minutes of autonomy and diesel generators starting 10 seconds after a grid failure.
- 6 cooling units, 24 °C ± 2, hot and cold aisles.
- Schuko sockets from two independent feeds, A and B; power cables are included in the setup fee.
- Customer UPS units are not allowed in the room; guaranteed power comes from the IPHOST infrastructure.
Rack and connection
- 600 × 1200 mm racks, width × depth.
- Each server PSU connects to a socket on a different feed, A and B.
Connectivity
- Uplink carriers: Voxility, InterLink, Cogent, RETN.
- Internet exchanges: MD-IX, KIVIX, InterLAN, NetIX.
- BGP: you can announce your own AS or your own prefixes; the session terminates on your network equipment in the rack.
- Own fibre: IPHOST runs its own ducted fibre network and can connect your equipment in the data centre directly to your office over dark fibre or a dedicated VLAN.
ISO/IEC 27001:2022 certification
The information security management system of IPHOST (Inovare-Prim SRL) is certified to ISO/IEC 27001:2022 by Quay Audit UK Ltd: certificate no. 4160103, valid until August 2029. The scope covers telecommunications services, data administration and IT infrastructure. View the certificate (PDF) · Verify in the IRQAO register.
How is electricity billed?
Power consumption is billed separately from the colocation fee: €0.36 per kWh + VAT. The tariff includes cooling and guaranteed power through UPS and generators.
- 1U and 2U plans: periodic calculation based on the measured average consumption, adjusted with the next readings.
- From 10U: a dedicated power meter with real-time monitoring in the control panel and month-end billing on actual readings.
- Connection to the second feed, B, is included at no extra charge.
As a guide: an average draw of 0.3 kW is about 220 kWh a month, roughly €79 + VAT.
Each plan has an allocated power: 1U 0.2 kW, 2U 0.4 kW, 10U 1.2 kW, 20U 2.5 kW, full rack 5 kW. If your server exceeds the threshold under normal load, pick the next plan. We can help estimate consumption from the specifications.
SLA
| Service | Condition | Availability |
|---|---|---|
| Power | equipment with two PSUs | 99.98% |
| Power | equipment with a single PSU | 99.0% |
| Network | connectivity contracted from IPHOST | 99.95% |
| Network | connectivity from third-party carriers | no SLA |
Access and security
- 24/7 access according to the access list you provide. The list is not limited; at most 2 people may be in the room at the same time.
- Visits are scheduled through the IPHOST control panel and confirmed by our engineers. Free Mon–Fri 9:00–18:00; outside business hours about €15/hour.
- FaceID access control; CCTV recordings are kept for at least 30 days.
- A handover report is signed when equipment is delivered and when it is removed.
- We do not offer separate storage; on request a 1U or 2U cabinet for spare parts can be mounted in the rack, non-flammable materials only.
What our engineers do at no charge
Small actions on your equipment — rebooting the server and attaching IPMI/KVM — are free of charge, during working hours, within 8 hours of your request. If you need it faster or outside working hours, the remote hands rate applies. Heavier work — replacing a disk, re-cabling, diagnostics — is billed by the hour.
SLA credits and non-payment
If availability drops below the guaranteed level you receive a credit on your account: from 5% to 50% of the monthly fee, depending on the uptime of the month, under the SLA. Credits are granted on request — open a support ticket. The SLA does not cover configuration errors made by the client, third-party software failures, DDoS attacks, force majeure, or maintenance announced at least 24 hours in advance.
A service with an unpaid invoice is suspended on the third day after the due date, after reminders and a final notice one day before. The contract is terminated after 30 days of arrears.
Ownership and responsibility
The equipment remains your property and your responsibility. We provide the environment: power, cooling, physical security and controlled access. We do not insure client equipment — if you want cover, arrange a policy yourself.
If the contract is terminated over unpaid invoices, the equipment stays in the data centre until the debt is settled in full.
Contract terms
- Minimum contract term: 12 months.
- 10% discount on colocation services for a 24-month contract.
- No deposit and no prepayment; the discount depends on the contract term, not on the payment method.
- Prices are in EUR, VAT excluded; on request the calculation is presented in MDL at the exchange rate on the invoice date.
- Moving to a bigger plan does not require relocating your equipment.
You are welcome to visit the data centre to see the room and discuss the technical details before signing.
